It is having a relationship with someone on line. Obviously non-physical, but it is showing emotion and feelings for someone other than your spouse via the cyber system.

An "emotion affair online" means one thing - you have no life what-so-ever, you need to stop with the textual love and go out and find you a 'real' person. Online relationships are a complete waste of time.
