I've been trying to get a distortion sound on my multi-effects wah pedal, but I can't a distortiony wah pedal sound. Should I buy a Jim Dulop Cry Baby wah pedal and then hook at up to my RP80? I wanna get that sound you can get in "The White Room" by Eric Clapton.

Most people play this Wah-wah pedal like Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darrell, Eric Clapton, Jimi Henderix, etc.

You could hook up the rp80 seperate through an effects loop and the pedal through the guitar. Or if you are using a rack with compressors and like a BBE and stuff there are probably about 10 different ways to do this.

You need two guitar cords one goes from guitar to pedal input, the other goes from pedal output to amp input. If you have multiple pedals then you need the short "jumper" cables to plug output of pedal 1 to input of pedal 2, output of pedal 2 to input of pedal 3, etc. output of last pedal in sequence goes to input of your amp. Placement of effects pedals will affect the sound that you get, I place the wah pedal first, then the phaser, flanger, distortion, then chorus. The distortion feeding the chorus results in a richer sound than if you had chorus feeding distortion pedal.
