1. Your name
2. Someone's else's name (i love ...)
3. A word that explaines your personality, life, important part of you, etc.
4. The reason you bought the necklace. (16th/18th/15th birthday, etc.)
5. What you feel like right now. (happy, joyful, descriptive adj.)
On a necklace I bought, the people wrote my name on a piece
of rice, and put the word "peace" on the other side. The necklace was like a little tube, and it looked cool. Ten they filled the tube up with glue stuff and put the peice of rice in it so it would float. That was two years ago.

No! Pure silver does not rust, but it will tarnish. If you decide to wear it in the shower/water, just make sure that when you get out, you dry it off well and then use a silver cleaner and soft rag (they also sell a special silver-cleaning product at Tiffany's with a rag) to clean it thoroughly. Also, you can have your necklace professionally cleaned at Tiffany's. I think there might be a $5-10 charge.

You should engrave it with the name of something you cherish such as an animal, husband, children, friend, your name anything. Its really up to you also you can ask the jeweler if they have any ideas to see what interesting things others get engraved on to their stuff.
