The graph is a line from 1 to 5.
Interval notation is [1,5].

Mark the points corresponding to 1 and 5 with a filled dot, fill the space between them with a thick line. This marks all numbers within 1 and 5, inclusive them (empty dots, instead of filled ones, would exclude the extremes 1 and 5).

The interval notation for { x | 1 <= x <= 5 } is [1, 5]. More details at the source below.

hi...r u nuts!!!! >:) anyways the answer is x=--[1,5], because x>=1 and x<=5. so

the [::::::] part is the answer set . got it;)practice this chapter man its very easy.
first dot 5and make an arrow to the left side on the number line [since x<=5, so it means x-5 and less, similarly fer x>=1]. thecommon part fer both the lines is the solution set.
i think the fig is not getting correct but the answer is.
