Thanks to everyone for previous answers which were spot on!
Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that I would like Windows 'Picture and Fax Viewer' to open my pictures up every time . I need the window that allows me click on 'Always choose this Action'...or something. Many thanks in advance.

Just copy & paste te shorciuts to these programs into this folder :
C:\Documents and Settings\** YOU **\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
They will start automatically with Windows.

Select one of the pictures you want to open by right clicking it then go to open with... then select Choose program at bottom of list. Then search through list and find Windows Fax and Picture Viewer. Highlight it and click the check box Always use selected program.

Hello, You can try going into the windows Default programs tool, this can be found by going to control panel and then default programs, here you can specify different settings. You could also try right clicking the file you wish to open and select "open with", then select change defaultvprogram, you can then find your desired aApplicationand click the tick box at the bottom. This will s`the applciation to use to open this file type.

this has nothing to do with this question, u answered my question about drains, i cannot believe you used James Bulger against my son this is no comparison, if you are not going to give me the advice i need then dont comment please, he is 4 years old not 40, the children that harmed james clearly new what they were doing they were old enough, this is a 4 year old i am talking about, do you realise how that makes me feel, he is not a bully.

Start/Settings/Control Panel
Open 'Folder Options' then open the 'File types' tab and change what you want.
That'll be £5 please ;o)

put in start up directory the executable file for those programs.
Click start button go to start up add the execution files for those two programs
