THE MEANING OF LIFE IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. THE MEANING OF LIFE TO YOU IS DIFFERENT THEN MY MEANING OF LIFE. THEREFORE THERE IS NO ANSWER FOR THIS QUESTION. NOT IN THE TEXT YOU ASKED IT ANYHOW. NOW IF YOU ASKED PEOPLE WHAT THE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO THEM YOU WOULD RECEIVE A LOT OF DIFFERENT ANSWERS. A CHEMIST MAY FIND A FORMULA TO BE THE MEANING OF LIFE- A PHYSICIST MAY THINK THE MEANING OF LIFE IS GRAVITY-AN ARTIST/FILMMAKER MAY THINK THE MEANING OF LIFE IS AN EMOTIONALLY MOVING PLOT OF A STORY-ETC- ETC. AND WHY? BECAUSE WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY,BEHAVIORALLY, NOT THE SAME EDUCATION, NOT THE SAME FAMILY UP BRINGING, AND MOSTLY- WE ARE ALL MORTAL.

A person completely uneducated in any of those fields. The people who have found the meaning of life are the ones who no longer care what that meaning is. Once you realize that chasing after answers youll never find, youll realize that whats inside you is what life is. The infinite wisdom we all seek is actually the wall binding us to our mundane existence. But that can't be true can it? Well your here asking this question arent you?

Touche would be an excellent response. In fencing there is thrust and parry and the point is scored with a legal touch. That doesn't mean you won the match but recognition that your excellent response resulted in a point. Touched love would be love returned or an excellent response to being loved.

If you consider what we are it may make sense.
We are the product of a universe that has someway developed the capacity to become aware of itself.
We, among others are the eyes and ears of a universe that would other wise have no insight into itself..

I think each have already come up with their own theories. I can only speak of my own disciple, but in the realm of Biology the meaning of life is to procreate, bottom line.

the average joe.... he, out of all the people you mentioned, would be the most likely to be enjoying life, rather than explaining it. if we spend all of our time examining the world, how can we possibly live a complete and fulfilling life
