I've always wanted to visit Manzanillo, but where should I stay for some good people watching, and would it be close to the good surf?
I'm an experienced surfer, and speak spanish. I Iike to stay in the more populated areas of town where there is a good selection of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.
Thank you for your advice.

The only surfing in Manzanillo is between Santiago and Miramar and it's bad.

Try further south at Boca de Pascuales ... or into Michoacan to La Ticla

Hotel Ma Cristina is in Santiago if you want to watch the locals, nice place and cheap. No good surf nearby

Hi !

At the following link you will find the most of hotels at Manzanillo.

The Karmina Palace, Las Hadas and Maeva are the best ones! If I had to choose one, Karmina Palace would be my option.
