Do you thnk that the federal government should help the predominatly white victims of the storm without doing more for the predominatly black victims of hurricane Katrina? In other words---"Average it out "

What more can the federal government do for the victims (black or white) of Katrina? How much of the government and private assistance has been squandered and abused?

Legally the federal government can not based its decision on who and how much to help on race.

Are you kidding me? Tell me, how does a natural disaster always turn into a race game? Did you ever consider that maybe the predominately white victims might make an effort to help themselves?

Most of the people in Florida probably have insurance. Unlike the poor black in New Orleans.

I think they should treat people as human beings... not separate them into categories.
