Because in the modeling world if you aren't bulemic and sickly thin than you must be fat. And apparently there is not such thing as "healthy" so she has been labeled fat.

People are stupid. Actually, the PRESS is stupid....they're the ones that keep harping on how much weight Tyra's gained. Tyra is well within the normal weight range for her height so the press needs to shut up! This whole fixation on weight has got to stop!

becuase they are stupid. in the modeling world you have to be super skinny in order to be "in" and now that she is healthy she is labeled fat. It is dumb. She even said that when she was like 120-130 lbs they kept telling her to lose weight. it is ridiculus. I dont understand why people want to be skinny. but I guess that is the same way people dont understand why skinny people like me want to gain weight! It is a crazy world we live in and it is very sad. I think tyra is beautiful and shouldnt listen to what stupid people say!

Well, I wouldn't consider her fat, because she is like 6ft. tall. But she has packed on weight ever since her retirement. She used to way about 140lbs. and instantly gained to 160lbs. People are just calling her fat, because they haven't seen anyone pack on the lbs. as quickly as she did.

I don't know.. maybe because there are alot of skinny skinny models and they think she's fat but she's normal the others that she is being compaired to are to skinny... I think she's pretty and normal weight
