There are several ways to accomplish playing a song backward, if it's a record (LP or 45) you can spin it backward on the turntable pad (or on some turntables there is a reverse feature). On higher end CD players for DJ's there is a reverse feature to play it backward. In several sound burning programs such as Nero you can use the editing features to reverse the song and reburn it to play on a CD player, however you might be forced to reverse it in segments of a song and then move the segments into the correct order, depending on which sound editor you are using. The studio versions are capable of doing this with relative ease...hope this helps.

Make sure it is in wav format then open it with msn's Sound Recorder. In sound recorder under Effects there is an option to reverse.
Sound Recorded is a default program on windows. You can find it under Programs> Accessories> Entertainment.
If its not there, just search for it.
