Check out the Memphis JobLinc -
http://www.memphislibrary.org/linc/Joblinc.htm

Also - don't forget to think about what you enjoy doing. If you like food and restaurants, apply to be a busboy or prep cook at some of the many Memphis restaurants (I agree with the other answerer - go high end instead of fast food and you can learn a lot more).

If you like music, check out music and equipment stores.

(you get the picture)

If you like your job and are happy to go to work, you'll do a lot better and get a lot further...

Paint the SAFER barrier walls after races have been held. They always need to be repainted after crashing and tire marks have been all down it. Concession stands? Idk, they may make you be 21 since they sell beer. Check out the Memphis Park website if they have one and see what info may be there.

If your 16 you can sell Avon, or their Mark. product. You just need an adult to sign with you! It would be your own business and you can sell to family and friends. It is only $10 for your start up selling package and the rest is up to you! If you want to know more e-mail me at andreagodbold@earthlink.net.
