when you are selling an item on ebay they say you have to inform them at least 12 hours before the auction ends if an item is no longer available for sale or else you will not be able to cancel the item. I knew that the item was no longer available for sale like yesterday, but I could not remove it yesterday because the internet was not working for me. Today the internet is working, but there are only 3 hours left in the auction so ebay will not let me remove the item. But I really still need the item now and I am not able to sell it even though there are bids on it. Not to mention the fact that I paid like $40 for it myself when I got it but the current bid is only $2.42. So what can I do? Is there a way I can remove the item now, or is there a way I do not have to sell it?

inform the highest bidder that you no longer have the item and give them their money back.. or just dont take it at all.... and if they refuse... then your just going to have to get bad feedback...

but just to be sure i say you contact ebay and let them know about your situation.
