Does anyone else seem to feel that the world is coming to end in our sometime near future?

Lately these days my wife and I, To which are not by far, people who are big into global warming or eco people, feel that the earth some how is going to end soon. ( not like tomorrow but in the next 100 years or less ) we are just wondering are we crazy or is other people feeling the same way. then the big Question What Should We Do To Prepare?

Yes, I agree that things feel like they are spiraling downward to some kind of end. Everybody should prepare themselves according to their own beliefs and practical ability (i.e. if you believe in a higher power, pray and have faith that all will work out; some say store enough food and supplies for your family's needs to last for a year)

I figure if the world is going to end I'll ride out the storm to wherever it takes me. No reason to stress about it because it is really out of my hands.

Nope. People have been predicting that for eons.

What's the point of preparing for the end of the world? We could treat the earth kinder in an attempt to reverse any damage we've done. But preparing for the end? You'll be gone.

firtsly why are you worrying because if the world does end in the next 100 years you probably will not be alive then and i dont think there is a way to prepare because we would not know what to expect!!!

The end of the world is predicted on a regular basis from generation to generation. I wouldn't give it much thought.

I suspect that since all we know, which constitutes our "world" is present only as neurological activity in our brains, and we each aware of our approaching death, there is the sense that when each of us dies, the "world" dies with us. In my opinion, that is the origin of the "end of the world" belief.

Save money, get your debts paid and the most important is to believe in Jesus. I also feel we are coming close to the "end of the age".
