There aren't any vegan stores in Athens Georgia.
You might be thinking of Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe http://www.cosmosveganshoppe.com
which is based in Marietta Georgia (but I don't think they have a retail location.)

Earth fare is the store, but it also has a meat section
The Grit is a vegetarian restaurant with an all vegan section and it actually doesn't suck!

I think you are talking about the Phoenix Market on the corner of Broad and another street... maybe Finley?
