After divorce, still living together as domestic partners. Does this qualify under state (calif.) law?

I am in the process of a divorce and my insurance states as long as the divorce decree states I am court ordered to cover my spouse until he remarries they will continue coverage. I would call you insurance and ask them hypathetically how that works.

My friend was living with a guy for 10 years and they had coverage on the children only. She had to find her own separate coverage for herself.

Don't know for sure but in my insurance it state that domestic partners have to be same sex. So if you are gay you can get insurance on your partner but not if you are normal.
