If If 75% of Democrats, including Clinton, Edwards, and Kerry, just to name a few, voted for the war in Iraq, then why do so many whine about it? The bill was titled " order for force to be used against the nation of Iraq"? How could

Now you are trying to argue with facts...they aren't interested in the facts. Remember before Bush wanted more troops the Dems called him an idiot and said he wasn't listening. Now he is sending more troops they are saying he is an idiot and not listening.

The argument isn't about the war it is about the Dems getting into power.

Arguments are held among those people who see the truth and those who do not .
The truth is that the war had its greatest effect in the first few months and has now deteriorated into chaos .
Anyone can see this and second guessing and blame play no part in solving the problem created by the removal of Saddam .
Iraq is in chaos and b people are trying to capitalize off of this chaos . We are pumping oil out of Iraq now and will be billing them for our military intervention .
We used American capital and labor to build an army ,billions and billions and billions of dollars went in with no return at all . It can not ever prevent terrorism and just like the old concept of lining up for battle and charging at one another on the field of battle is no longer practiced so is any kind of conventional war . This means the armies are the people who resist change and will not allow order to return easily make war a non profit business and who would engage in that .
So we wasted billions on an army and now are seeing a return by charging the people who have oil for this army by taking oil in payment for deposing Saddam .
No oil -no profit no battle . If you do not see this then you are blind .

It's OBVIOUS !!

DUH !

They are ALL whining TODAY because it has been PROVEN beyond all doubt that the invasion of Iraq was made with complete disregard for International law, OR due provocation - ie WMD !!

Typical politician, if things had turned out ok, they would be gloating about how they were right to support Bush.
Now that it has been proven to be the absolute wrong decision, they want to disassociate themselves from thier original decision and support.

Sickening... and you vote for these people.

ONCE A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE, THE SUPPORT FOR EACH AND EVERY MILITARY PERSON ON THE GROUND SHOULD BE MANDATORY AND ABSOLUTE.

Contrary to popular belief, these people are NOT cannon fodder even if that is exactly how each politician is treating the soldier on the ground - who has NO SAY in the decision to invade or not to invade.. but to just follow the order.

Because it's been 3 years since the US invaded Iraq and not only has it not won the war has only gotten worse. And Lincoln was figting the American Civil war for the preservation of the Union for the very survivial of the USA not some war 4,000 miles away fighting in someone elses Civil war.

It's called making political points.
If a democrate was in the White House, it would be the most glorious war ever and cheap in money and lives.
With a Republican in power ,it's a disaster.
