I work in a hospital and I see many different types of visits. First you might need to narrow the type of visit you are going to write about such as an Emergency visit or an OB/GYN visit, Orthopedic visit, Mental Health Visit, Dental Visit ect cetra. Then you should describe that visit in detail such as the process of making the appointment, the checking in process, waiting in the waiting area to be called upon and some of the things and/or people you see, then in the actual room where you are seen by the doctor. Describe what you are there for in your project (which means narrowing down an illness as well) and then get information about that illness and ways to prevent it and/or treat it when you have been diagnosed by the doctor. There is a great deal of information on the web about several illnesses and treatment options that can help with your visual display of your project. Hope this helps you out some. (Just a note as well, when asking for help you need to cover a little more detail of what exactly you are looking for so that others can help give you more information)

If you have never had a hospital stay , you should just walk into a hospital and report what you see. Get creative and talk about when you were born. (The perspective of a newborn would be funny).

there are lots of children's books about visiting a hospital or the doctor at your local library. or Discovery Health channel has shows on what goes on in an ER.
