The pregnant person is not the one who "has a shower" for her baby or babies.
That's up to your friends or family, if they offer.
Since you will be delivering early and the babies will be spending quite a bit of time in the hospital afterwards, I would wait until after they are born, but before they go home.

I work in an NICU. Most moms end up in the hospital on bed rest before the babies are born. So most of them wait until after the babies are born & still in the hospital. They should have a lengthy hospital stay and you can plan it after they are born. I don't know if they plan it that way or if it just happens that way. Congrats and I wish you luck! Happy & healthy babies!
Remember being in the NICU is like a dance. The babies will have really good days and take a few steps forwards, then they will have bad days and take a few steps back. Just try not to get discouraged on the bad days. Congrats again!

Woof! First off, contratulations and you are a trooper...5 babies..wow.
Best time to have a baby shower would be VERY soon. I believe with multiple births...especially over twins....it's common for early labor. you might want to plan something in the next 2-4 weeks if possible. if you can't - it's always fine to have a shower after the babies are born...that way everyone gets to see them!
You shoud only have one shower, but it would be a good idea to invite LOTS of people.
Good luck!

im 19 weeks pregnant with my baby boy, Tyson. We are waiting untill after I have the baby before we have a shower for me. It gives the mother some time to relax and everyone else to see the baby.

Have one soon. That way, if you don't get everything you need, you have time to get the essentials before they are born. You can have one very large shower with all your family, friends, cooworkers, & neighbors or you can break it up into a couple of smaller showers. Whatever works best for you and your friends and family. Congratulations & Good Luck!

Have your shower ASAP. One shower for all. Have homemade cards made....cardstock, a printer, and nice ribbon. This way you can include specific information, ie: QUINTS!!
You would be fine having the shower in March....but start working on the preperations now.
You should get a diaper cake for this special occassion. One custom made for your special little ones. I make them....I actually specialize in custom diaper cakes. I put the link to my sight below....

With quints I'd have at least 2 and early, as multiple births rareely go to 40 weeks. I'd have one within the next month if iI were you.

Since you'll probably having them around 36 weeks you should start planning it now. Really you only need one, everyone will know to get something for all. Get someone to help you throw it. I planned my first baby shower and two hours later i was so tired i was basically throwing everyone out!
Go ahead and plan a date and send out invitations.

*****CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!******* I would say have a shower at about 6 1/2 to 7 months along. Those babies more than likley wont stay in that belly the whole nine months, so have it early so you can figure out what else you need to buy and have time to set everything up. and again.... ****CONGRATS****

You ain't got much more time, because they're not going to let you go much further than 32 weeks with quints.
I'd have only one shower.
