The best way to abolish castes is by doing inter castes marriages, relationships, acts and providing knowledge to the people. For example recently in the news we have heard the news about Sandip and Shabnam who marry each other but their parents did not accept them because the girl was muslim and the boy was hindu but they ran away from their homes and they expose their problem in front of the media, so it indicates that people are moving towards abolishing towards casts system but it will take time because it is widely spread in our country and world but the initiative should come from the government first after all they are running the country, if they will not care then why the people will care. So we have to wait for the government move in this section to move one step ahead.

The castes must disappear at any cost, whatever be the reason for their origin and purpose that the system had served in the past. It has divided our society and the hard that it had wrought on the society is there for all to see. An important step in this direction would be encouraging inter caste and inter culture marriages. Spread of education among all the communities and proper economic empowerment will pave way for an egalitarian society with more opportunities for inter communities marriages.

If everybody thinks as INDIAN. And just keeping in mind only 2 castes exist as men and women, caste system can be eliminated.
Also the funda of "reservations" also comes to an end.
