thanx everyone for the comments. I have an appointment on tuesday. She moves.. just not nearly as much as she used to. I'll try the orange juice and the kick counts. Thanx!

yes, because there is no more room enough for the bay to move around, and depends on your mood to if you feel sad the baby can feel that.. so don't worry it is fine..
if you don't feel any movement at ALL than that is dangerous.. check to your doctor

If you are very concerned, drink a glass of orange juice and lay down for 1 hour. Count the amount of kicks you feel and if it is less than 5 call your doctor.. Drinking the oj will give the baby a dose of good sugar and should wake the baby up, and get it moving. Good Luck!!

I just had my son 3 months ago and I remember that stage being so scared because he stopped!! But I rushed to the doctor.. Only to learn that its normal the baby is getting ready to come out.. I guess its the calm before the storm.. If your still worried ask your doctor to do a stress test on the baby and that should easy your mind, But make sure the movements have not stopped completely.

I had the same thing happen. My doctor had me come in and they monitored his movements and heartrate for an hour or so. Everything was fine, he was just getting really cramped and there was less room to move around. Are you doing your kick counts?

If you don't want to go to your doctor's office, try picking out a time to lay on your left side for an hour or so, eat graham crackers (or a sugary cookie or cracker), drink juice and do your kick counts, but really concentrate on them and keep count.

This is normal in the last weeks of pregnancy! The baby is basically running out of room to move around so much! Don't be worried! Congratulations by the way!

My dr. said that in the later weeks of pregnancy the baby is bigger and therefore has less room to move. But, in my opinion it's better to be safe than sorry so I would run this by your doc just for your own peace of mind. Good luck, I'm sure everything is fine!
