Only now, the box next to it with dates in has the text at the bottom of the cell, so where it has a lot of info in one column , the other just has a couple of words but i need it to be at the top of the cell, any ideas???

Select the cells that you want the text to be at the top and click on Format and choose Cells. Click on the Alignment tab and under Text Alignment - Vertical choose Top. Click OK.

Select all the text in the cell, then right click your mouse. There should be an option Cell Alignment, which allows you to select where in the cell your text should appear.

have you tried right clicking on the appropriate cells this give you an option a where to align the text, select top and that should do it
