A monopoly company is one that has no competition, usually because of its business practices.

A company that doesn't have competition because there is no one else willing or able to do that kind of work is legal. When there is money to be made, there is almost always more than one person/company willing to do the work.

A company that doesn't have competition because it make agreements with suppliers not to sell to the competitors or they lower their prices to where they are selling at a loss anytime another company tries to get into the same business is illegal.
