I think he had a lot of success with the yankees and could definatly bring it back.

I think it's a good move for the Yankees. He put a lot of innings on his arm in the three years he was away, and he is not the same pitcher he was, but he is a definitely an upgrade over washed-up Randy Johnson and the bust Jaret Wright. I still think it was a mistake for them to let him go in the first place. The Yankees could have really used him in 2004, he could have won one more game against Boston in the ALCS, and things would have been a lot different.
Still, it's good to see Pettitte back where he belongs, and he should be a good pitcher for a year or two.

I think the Yankees need to get more useful problems, I get the feeling that Pettite won't make it through the whole year and will have some arm problems.

Pettite is a decent pitcher, which the Yanks need. The guy is still young in his career and will be bound to transfer a few times. Just on principle, the Yanks should definitely not take Clemens back!

I think that it is a good move for both sides. Pettite is used to his surroundings and knows how much the Yankees need him.

I think it was a pickup that made the Randy Johnson trade available and release money from their bottom line. Pettite will be as solid as ever and he will bring balance to the Yankee staff.

I think it is great. I can't wait to see Pettite pitch for the Yankees this year. He can do better in New York since he has played here for most of his career. He is one of my favorite pitchers. It is great to have him back.

It's a great move for him. Once again he will get the run support he never got in Houston plus he will automatically be in the pennant race every year. The Yankees are a much better team than Houston.

I was really mad when he left. But now hes back so im happy. Plus the Yankee pitching sucks. This now helps the Yankees to get Roger Clemens. Hes not like those other guys who the Yankees waste their money on. He pitched in NY and he was good back then.

I think it's a good move. He's back where it all started for him and he should never have left. If he gives us 15 wins it'll be a great return. His veteran leadership will help in the clubhouse as well. He's also a magnet for Clemens.
