Im sitting here watching the news. They are showing the people of Florida picking up after the tornado. Unlike the people of New Orleans, the first thing they did after the storm hit was grab shovels, tools and started cleaning up the mess. Started helping to find survivors and to put their lives back together. They do this everytime a major storm hits their area. Same thing when the hurricanes have came through Florida in the past. They dont sit around waiting on federal aid. They dont sit around complaining about not getting a "check". They dont run out and loot. They grab some tools and get to work cleaning up for themselves.

Judge needs to be shot. People choose to live where they new there was big possibility of flood. They should get a little help like they did and know that next time should be thir problem. Not to be mean but if you build on a cliff and there is a land slide should be your fault to right? Chose where you live carefully.

Interesting question, but if you hit the lottery, you usually get the money quickly! In a suit, it can take months, or years! I would rather hit the lottery, even if it was for $1000!

The answer is no. The engineers did everything they could within their budget limitations to take care of those levees. People should be going after those who cut the Engineers levee budget years ago. They are the ones who are at fault for this.
