Yes i`ve seen it and it`s a good film,can`t remember if it`s based on a true story though,Is it the one i`m thinking of?The boys steal a hotdog stand and it rolls away from them and kills someone,they go to the prison and get abused by the guards then meet up when they`re older and kill one of the guards,if it is then it was a really good but sometimes sad film.

Set in Hells Kitchen New York. Also starring Brad Pitt, and Robert De Niro. Excellent though very disturbing film. I believe its based on a true story. How can people do that to kids?

I have just read the book which is written by one of the boys. It is a very compelling read but also very disturbing. Much worse than the film was allowed to show.

yes brilliant As a rule i can`t watch that sort of thing because i feel theres something sleezy about them
But sleepers has to be an all time great and your right its very disturbing i couldn`t get it out of my head for ages

I saw it and thought it was good. I think there has more recently been criticism though of whether the book it was based on was entirely accurate.

Seen it - as much as it is sick what happens to the boys - the ending revenge on the sickos that did it is brilliant.
