Your little green angel is cute. And no, my mind doesn't always get along with my heart. I tend to be too concerned with other people and quite often end up forgetting about myself to come to someone else's aid. And sometimes what my heart might want isn't good for my situation in the world and I end up getting the shaft. I have to be careful not to think with my heart because I have learned that if I don't look out for myself, nobody else will. Too many others are seemingly out to take, take, take when I show how willingly I give, give, give. Those others have caused me great problems in life at times because I cared more for their welfare than my own and gave until it hurt. I think it is best to fine a middle somewhere and try to keep in balance what you can and cannot do. Sometimes I end up being a really big sucker for trying to help this world's underdogs.

When there is resistance to what your doing then that is the ego getting a word in. The energy of the ego greater (larger) consciousness of the world, it is the self of the mind, the Me story that is not heart energy, the heart energy is the spiritual wisdom that is always there to hear when we are quiet enough to listen. The two energies are directly opposed to one another, on one hand the ego will never ever be satisfied, the story of self needs to becontinuallyy added to all the time, the energy of the heart has no self involved, you can feel it as you pick up a child that has fallen over, or when you you put your own safety second to help a stranger, that is the energy of the spirit.
