In all honesty, its less hassle to just buy them!

Depends on the type of worms. If you mean earthworms the very best thing to do is go to Walmart or a large bait store and buy Miracle Worm bedding and simply follow the directions.

If you mean something else, drop me a line and I'll help you out. There are some worms that culture well at home and others that don't.

For my worm supply, I use my compost heap. Get yerself a compost bin & put in all organic household waste (With the exeption of bones & meat). Position the bin over earth. The worms will then colonise the lower parts of the compost.

i agree with spooky. a compost heap will turn out thousands of worms if done properly....i have a huge one in the backyard, and never have to buy nightcrawlers...
