On the p metric. Take the width 245 mm multiply by the aspect ratio 70% to find side wall hieght. Times 2 for the top and bottom half of the tire. Divide by 25 or 25.4 if calculator handy to chang to inches. Add 16 the rim size. This will tell you the hight of the tire.

Obvious to different size wheels though. I blieve on the p metric the 245 is tread width though and on the inch sized tires it is section width. Keep in mind that some times the inch size tires are a bit off from stated size as are the p metrics. I have had 35" tirs that measured 33" and some to measure 36" and the width of the wheel they are put on makes a little difference too. A lot closer in little car sizes though.

245x70x16 is about 1/2 an inch shorter and and not as wide by about by about 1/2 an inch

There are other factors that I cant calculate but if the tires are coming from the same place just compare them

16 and 15 are rim sizes

Aren't that second ones for muscle cars ....cameros,monte carlo ss etc....they're wide street tires?
