Does this mean leading your own self, or would it imply how one would lead his/her organisation. It is an expression that I heard and people gave different meaning and iterpretation.

Leading Yourself means utilising the power of your emotional and psychological intelligence. Before one can be able to lead others, one should be able to take responsibility for one's life and be the master of one's fate. How can a person lead others when he , himself cannot "lead" himself?
A book was written by R. B. Noyes entitled :" The Art of Leading Yourself: Tap the Power of Your Emotional Intelligence". You can read this and get the real meaning of the word.

Before hoping to command others, first you get command over your-self. Unless you win over your-self, you can't win over others. A person,who wanted to become a leader should desist from anger,irritation,impatience,short temper and other sort of un-wanted emotions. Lord Buddha, Jesus Christ and Mahatma Gandhi lead them-selves, So they are still leading the masses. To say in brief "balanced behaviour" .

It means covering oneself in lead, for reasons of personal gratification. I think the practice died out when the poisonous qualities of lead became more widely known.

my interpretation of this would be that you are in control of your own actions. You take charge of your life, no one else can do this for you, you are leading yourself. (taking control)

expressing ourselves and also let others know what we can do
and putting forward ourselves for such works
