"Biden spent his first day as an official presidential candidate Wednesday explaining his statement that Obama is "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean."

I'm not going to vote for them, either one, but how patronizing can you get?

What was he thinking?

Of course. You can also count on the liberal media covering his behind. Here would of been the headline in the Washington Post or NY Times had it been a Republican that misspoke..

Yep, that isn't the only thing Biden has ever said, he once said something about you have to be Indian to go into a 7-11. Whats funny is how since Biden is a liberal the nobody is making as big a deal out of it as they would if a conservative said it. A bigger deal was made about George Allen and the macaca comment.

well on his gma interview, he was criticizing everybody who was running for president, but he also gave them credit and stuff like that. yes he did make that comment. it was stupid about what he said to obama especially when he said the word "clean". id get very offended if i was obama, but he did the right thing. he didnt cause any war against each other, but i surely hope biden will lose some voters for saying that.

This is kind of old news. It's already been discussed. Obama's responded, saying that he knows it wasn't taken out of context (and saying it was historically inaccurate).

Biden apologized (privately to Obama, then publicly issued an apology) for the comment and explained what he way trying to say.

It is old news, and I think it can be attributed to the fact that they sunk his hairplugs too deep when he had the scalp modification done. Either that or no one told him that you're supposed to stop pushing the Q-Tip in when you meet resistance.

Yes he did say that and Biden apologized to Obama that same day. It's no longer news.
