What you really should do is get into 80's bands because a lot of the groups you listed are just throw backs to the 80's.

His lyrics are absolutely beautiful...and the music is good too...if you're into pop/funk/alt rock I think he's done pretty much everything except for rap.
although, i live in the US and it's really gay cause he hasn't done anything in the us too recently, so i have to get my stuff from overseas. but he is VERY popular overseas...
