the elusiveness of the bush administration is what's holding our resolve together. would our enemies back off if we openly admitted we didn't know what to do? how can you ask a president to admit failure to the thousands in iraq right now depending on him. sh*t trickles downhill, commander in cheif, generals, officers, NCO's, privates. how would that help our resolve? the situation has everyone perplexed. the truth is that right now, i doubt anyone would be doing anything differently. we need more troops! the president sends more troops. mr. president why are you sending more troops? why the hell did you tell me to send some in the first place? ideologies are clouding this countries best interests, will somebody get a fu*king grip on reality?

I'd have less respect for him. I don't want a president telling the people that he's clueless on solving an issue.

Yes. That would indicate he is ready to listen to other informed advisers to figure out a solution. I don't pretend I know the solution - but I am sure there are some very wise people out there who could advise him if he would give up the idea that "I am the Decider." Arrogance and stubbornness does not make a person a good leader.

I think he has admitted to quite a bit. He's asked for input from the Congress who didn't have any idea's except cut and run and he's been getting advice from others. I have a lot of repect for him, he's carried quite a load since he's gotten in without much support for even the smallest things.

my father told me "honest is the best policy" do you remember him sitting in that classroom having one of his henchmen telling him that a 747 has just crashed into one of the world trade center buildings? I personally would have been out that door in a heartbeat, not him he just sat there stunned, not confident.
He is the worst president in history, ever!
