I used to vote for the person. I now realize the person's view really means little. The party line is what people use. Dems are for murder oops abortion i mean. I cannot bring myself to vote anyone who is in a party that supports killing the innocent, so now I vote straight ticket. More children in the US has died from abortion than anyone can attribute to Bush or any Republican for that matter.

What I find embarrassing is the number of people who do not view the Executive Seat as anything other other than a Popularity contest!
The President is the Commander in Chief and the Foreign Affairs Ambassador for our Country! Congressional Lawyers are wholly un-qualified for the job! I could not care less about how cool anyone thinks the President is, I want him or her to be competent!

I vote for individuals, and I vote for who I think will do the best job.
All of this political pandering, mud-slinging, and name-calling that goes on at election time turns my stomach.
