I have been reading Oliver Twist as an English assignment and am doing Annotations about the chapter. I am sure that the golden locket is a key part of the chapter, but I cannot find what it is! Can someone help me?

no, old sally the nurse who is with olivers mother at the time of his birth steals the locket from her [agnes, olivers mother]. and yes it is to prove that oliver recieves the inheritance

the golden locket ia a piece of olivers inheritance it was stolen in the orphanage inside is a portait of his mother. LF

This chapter explains that those in Christ will rise after physical death with a new non-perishable body, a heavenly body. In Matthew22:30 Jesus said "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels of heaven." - So there will be no sexuality as we know it in this life - one reason being that there will be no babies born, Whether we will have male qualities and female qualities is not clear but there certainly will be no pairing.
