I bought mine because I hate the fact that ipod forces you to use itunes to manage your music. I used to have a creative zen touch but it broke and creative were rubbish when I asked for help.
The zune is a nice piece of kit, it has the hardware to do anything you want, and as time goes on the software will let you do more and more.
