I guess you could call me a semi-feminist: I want equal pay and other rights, but I will never stop shaving my legs or wearing heels..and I still want to get off the boat first.

Depends how you define 'feminist': I'm feminist in the sense that I think women should have the same rights as men, be allowed to vote etc. Over the years it seems it has become a dirty word, very few girls like being called feminist as they think it means that you think women are superior to men and that men should be culled/locked up etc. Maybe some people think this but they are a tiny minority of women. So if someone says they're feminist you need to be careful about exactly what they mean. There's a funny incident about this in the book Blue Shoes and Happiness, where a woman tells her partner she's a feminist but both have completely different ideas of what it is and it makes for a lot of confusion!

Man here, 15 years old./
the Feminist movement has, for a long time, been hijacked by ultra leftwing socialist and actually a few communists. Civil rights has been achieved, this post-civil rights movements are all corrupted.
Feminist need to work on equality, if anything, not superior rights. For example, if a rich man divorces his wife, the wife must keep getting payed $$$ a month. Thats just awful, its not fair at all.

I am definately not a feminist. Well, definately not an extremist. I believe in equal rights, but I don't think we should be held as responsible for the financial matters of a marriage as men...at least not as long as we are also expected to do the cooking and cleaning.
I don't have a problem taking on the traditional role of a woman, I do take some issue, however, do doing that and working full time.

I believe we should be treated as equals to men. Equal rights, equal pay for the same job. I guess that makes me a feminist but unlike some extreme feminists I don't see being feminine as a crime. :-)

If thinking that women are equal to men in every aspect of life makes me a feminist, I wear that label.

A lot of people are threatened by equal rights and so they spread misinformation, saying that women want superiority when all we want is TOTAL equality. You shouldn't have to have a penis to be able to get about easily in life.
If someone gave me a choice to be either equal to men or above men, I'd choose to be equal to them.

30 years from now, feminists will be the sad, lonely ranting old women who have no partner. Nobody will want to be in their company, let alone listen to their nonsense ramblings.
