I'm not sure it's possible to define exactly what 'feminist' women are, because feminism is of course a complex spectrum of political and social opinion, and plenty of women who view themselves as feminists would view other women who view themselves as feminists as either extremists or appeasers, depending on where on the spectrum they stand.

I believe that human beings are incredible things, and women have a wonder and a power within them that has historically been devalued in a generally male-dominated social hierarchy. I don't believe we've done enough to develop societies that value women for their views, their skills, and their womanhood, so I would support any woman and any action that legitimately helps the evolution of those societies.

But with women having been raised and educated by people at all kinds of levels of awareness about feminism, their own powers and abilities, I don't think it's necessarily fair to weigh down every woman with a guilt-burden if they don't feel the fire for the struggle towards that social evolution. I would support any woman's journey towards whatever makes her happy, today, tomorrow and throughout her life.

I'm a Lady, No I'm not a Feminazi..... I feel as if they have ruined this country and still going. Feminist are the reason women don't have a choice but to go to work these days and that wages don't match today's economy! If men were still the bread winners and women raised the kids and took care of the home, there would be less poverty, less crime, a higher education rate, better paying jobs, marriage would still be a good thing, etc. I know that I'm gonna get a ton of thumbs down... I don't care facts are facts... Compare 1950's to the today's society.
And just because I'm not a feminist doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion, it's not all about men controlling women, it's about what's better for the future of our country and human beings...

Who is a feminist woman? Someone that goes around promoting female dominance and bullying male peers? As saddening as it is I think this is what most of them do, and its not helping her kind.
I root for the successful, sincere and hardworking person, be it man or woman.
Whats gender got to do with it?

They typically turn me off. Most of them come off like domineering control freaks who will castrate men emotionally if necessary to stay in control! I think it's a selfish philosophy that steps on males to exalt oneself. It's very chauvinistic in my opinion. Why can't women be happy and proud they're women without trying to make themselves like guys or better than males? They aren't less valuable than men. They are the treasures of creation. That's why God created them last. When you try to be something you're not, you loose the power & beauty you've been given.

i like to think of myself as a feminist but i'm not one of these screaming angry "women r better than men, i can do everything for myself" ones, i try to do most things for myself but its not beneath me to ask for a mans help, i also like to be treated like a lady at times too, but there are times when each sex is more appropriate-if a was stuck in a burning building i would rather a strong man was there to rescue me! i accept men can do things better than women, and women excel at others,

No way, truth is men are stronger than women and that suits me down to the ground when I get a flat tyre.

I am not a feminist. I am kind of a traditionalist in many ways....whatever has its advantages at the time e.g. traditionalist when it comes to staying at home and not working (I do work though)

No I am not feminist, I think a woman should be a woman (work at home doing her choirs, raising kids and doing things to please her husband)
I do however know many women must work two- but still should respect her husband.

The extremist can go a little overboard at times but other than that it's fine. To each their own.
