Most red lobsters aren't kept as pets but others are such as blue and snow white. The blue lobster can grow up to 26.4cm and the snow white lobster, up to 17.6cm. You can feed them meat, prawns, vegetables or special foodstick. They can live up to eight years in normal aquarium. I presume you could try keeping a red lobster in the normal conditions, just get the lobster food stick.

Must be a freshwater lobster, crawfish. Feed it food that sinks and it will also eat feeder fish that are slow enough to catch.

Your "lobster" is really a large species of crayfish, or crawdad whichever you prefer. Feed it sinking pellets or wafers such as brine shrimp pellets. It will feed during the day, but prefers to feed at night so feeding a few pellets at lights out is a good idea.
