Wouldn't you just love to go round and beat ten shades out of them. Why the hell do people find it necessary to have their music blaring and their windows wide open. Isn't this an invasion of my privacy?

Think yourself lucky you haven't has the array of neighbours from hell that i've had. It ranges from loud music at all hours, arguments with china being thrown, to burning sofas in the garden at 2am, when you think your own fence is going to catch alight. I live in a very quiet Street and somehow I always seem to get them in the rented out house next door. Once I got so p**ssed off with the music I barged my way in and confiscated the stereo (don't know what came over me really, I'm normally very quiet).

I wouldnt call it an invasion of your privacy, but it is really disrespectful. We had a problem with noisy neighbors, we tried to work it out with them but they didnt care and continued to be disrespectful. We talked with our landlord who didnt do a darn thing because he is lazy and didnt want to lose the money he got from them renting from him. Finally we had no choice but to call the cops, they were no help either, they would come over and say turn the music down and as soon as they left it would be right back up. The issues we had were with a pack of wild teenagers, so finally we just keep calling the police one night until they got the picture and ended up finding out the kids were drinking and using drugs in the apt. The girl went crazy on the cops and was taken away in handcuffs. Problem solved!

no it's not an invasion of your privacy. first of all, they aren't bothering you and they're not breaking into your place digging through your personal items, so no it's not an invasion of privacy. If they want to blare their music then they can. I'm sure they pay plenty of money to live where they do so they have every right to blast their music. if you don't like it, tough, they aren't harming you.

I know what you mean coz my partner loves his music loud and it does my head in. Luckily enough my neighbours enjoy his music so they don't complain. That still does not stop me thinking it invades other peoples privacy
