Yes it is possible to pass two eggs and have only one get fertilized. And you would not have a period because periods occur due to a lack of pregnancy hormone being secreted by a fetus. So if one was fertilized it would cause the pregnancy hormone to be secreted and therefore stop you from having a period. Hope this helps!

Completely possible that the second egg may not have fertilized. It may have been of poor quality or the sperm simply may not have reached it before it died. But, if one of the eggs did fertilize and implant then you wouldn't have a period because the fertilized one implants and produces progesterone that prevents your body from flushing out the baby.

If you ovulate twice (one from each ovary) and one egg is fertilized both corpus leutems would be sending messages to the uterus... one to shed, and one not too. From what I read doing a yahoo search on double ovulation this is more confusing for the patient then is towards the pregnancy, you may spot before your HCG levels rise enough but everything says it will not harm the fertilized egg, and you will not have a full period.

It is a common misconception that an unfertilized egg causes menstruation. Menstruation has NOTHING to do with the egg, it has to do with your hormones. Many women have cycles where they do not ovulate at all, and they still have their periods.
