Do drive-in theaters count?
If so, it was Saturday Night Fever (late 1970s)

If you are only counting cinema theaters.
Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla (mid 1970s)

I haven't had much of a desire to go to a movie theater since cable TV became popular, then videos & now DVDs. Seems like a terrible inconvenience to me, since you can wait a few months and have a much more enjoyable time watching the movie in the comfort of your own home.

I do however enjoy going to live theater & watching an Opera.

The Last King of Scotland. Forrest Whitaker is AMAZING. He should definitely win an Oscar for that outstanding performance.
