the conservatives would say we are...they're willing to trash the reputation of anyone who doesn't adhere 100% to the bush agenda...as a proud veteran, the thing that appalls me the most is their willingness to absolutely trash the reputations of decorated heroes who have served our country, some having come back with limbs missing (max cleland springs to mind) and lifelong disabilities, for speaking up and voicing an honest opinion over the policies of this administration-it's disgusting and a disgrace to those who have willingly put their lives on the line for this country...and a lot of these folks who are doing the moist bashing are those who were either too cowardly or too self-centered to spend a day in uniform. and i'm sick of this attitude that the president is some kind of ruler over this nation-he's the head of ONE branch of the government...folks need to get back to what they should have learned in school and remember that in this country, WE are the deciders-we don't work for bush, he works for US...and he's been doing a pretty pathetic job

Liberals keep announcing that....who's looking you a traitor? you do not ought to accept as true with each and every thing Bush (names are capitalized), does. This appears like a personal difficulty, advance up that is extremely alright to disagree.

Disagreeing with your leaders does not make you a traitor. It's our right and responsibility to do it when we personally believe it needs to be done.
The founders of this country questioned their leadership. When things were wrong, they called for a change. When their attempts were silenced, they just became louder. It strengthened their resolve. If those great men did not question their leaders, the colonists would have never gained their freedom. America probably wouldn't even exist; if it did, it wouldn't be anything like it is now.
There's even a line in the Declaration of Independence that encourages people to act & speak out against the leadership when they believe things are wrong.

No, but they're also not the commander in chief. They don't get the daily presidential briefing that the president receives. They don't have ALL the information to make a solid decision on the matter. It's always easy to criticize, but I don't see any of these people giving a better plan for victory in Iraq.

You are not a traitor to disagree with the President but you are not necessarily right either. Most important it is the President's decision not the Generals, politicians, & people's decision. That is just the way the laws & the Constitution were written.
Military personnel are not suppose to publically criticize their commanders & the Commander in Chief (the president) is the top commander. My son is an Army Officer & said you can be court martialed but it is not done often.

I believe they have just forgotten who's policies they are really going against..
And something every voter who is anti war needs to read about who they are putting in office again..
Bush did one bad thing when he ordered our troops into Iraq.. He didn't check the reports on the previous Presidents intelligence
Here, check it out for yourself.. I am sure this is why he made chummy relations with President Bush Sr. That is how they pull their weight around..

The Republican propaganda machine is alive and running, it's called all TV and all news print. It's also all Conservative Bias.
The message is clear, anyone who does not bow down to this Hitler is called a traitor. They are also accused of wanting to see America fail in Iraq. Propaganda all. We already won in Iraq, Saddam is gone. We did the search for WMDs in Iraq. Congress never approved the occupation of Iraq. Colin Powell told Bush that he needed a exit plan and Bush ignored that advice then fired him.

In the end we may never know whats it all about. Could be that we also are misinformed.

Disagreement won't make you traitor- the actions which endanger our country will make you traitor! The mistakes which cost many soldiers won't make you traitor - but you are traitor when you help terrorists to kill our men!

Isn't it amazing how Bush becomes less and less popular, his supporters become more and more extreme in their invective against anyone else who doesn't agree with them?
Or maybe it is just that all the normal rational people have already abandoned Bush and his philosophy and the only ones left supporting him are the nutcakes.
