Ok, so i opened my computer case and checked the wattage of the power supply, it said maximum watt: 300 watts
Is that enough for a ATI X1950 PRO graphics card?
My computer has the folowing:
AMD athlon 64 3700+ processor
cd/dvd drive
2 gig memory
200GB Hard drive
2 USB drives

Is it possible that if i buy the ATI radeon x1950 pro and put it in my computer the motherboard fries up?
Ok, if i have to buy a new power supply, is a 450 watt a good one for the job?

Your going to need more power.I picked up a 500 watt unit for about 50 bucks from newegg.com.If you buy at a local store you'll be paying thru the nose unless it's on sale. The link below is for there power supplies from Newegg.Read the customer reviews before you buy.Putting in a new power supply is fairly easy.If you have a digital camera take a before and after picture to see if they match. Good luck.P.S. I've also included their link that has a power suplly learning center. It will help a lot.

I would upgrade to 500 watts soon, if you start to expierence problems, like powering off or slow runtimes, that will indicate your powersupply is gonna die

a 300w power supply is not going to be enough for that system.
