I think the greatest dates is when you and your guy are both goign out doing somethign that you both enjoy. where theres not alot of distraction yet you can enjoy each other and the activity. i know i'm into poetry and a guy took me out to a spoken word club and the atmosphere was just nice and later on we went for a walk and even though he didn't spend about 50 bucks for both of us to hit a dinner and a movie i had a much better time doing that. we learned so much more about one another and connected.

Depending on where you live you could go to a park and have a picnic. My dh and i did this while we were dating. We brought sandwhiches and wine etc and sat on a blanket and talked, it was very nice. Also, ice skating is fun. And then there is the good old fashioned bowling ...

if you live by the beach, then a romantic dinner by it is great.. if it is cold and rainy, then a nice dinner by a fire place is great, and then you could watch a really nice movie..
