I did get pregnant on my first cycle of Clomid, although it was Ectopic, I was successful again on my 7th cycle of Clomid (AKA B*tch in a Bottle) I hated taking that stuff made me awful. Your success depends on why your taking it, I like you had very long intervals between periods and therefore was confirmed I did not ovulate, Clomid did make me ovulate and therefore I had success, even after having lost my left tube, my right tube picked up from the Left Ovary. Good Luck and remember it really can help, what days are you taking it, I had more success taking it days 5-10 versus the 3-7.

I got pregnant the second month of clomid. But always wondered if I would have gotten pregnant the first month because I was not sure I took the pills correctly during my first cycle. I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from side effects but just remember, in the end, it will all be worth it! Best of luck!

I wish I could give you better news. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19, I wouldn't see my monthly cycle for 3,6,9 months sometimes, I even have gone 11 months without a period. I was also put on Clomid, but it took 6 cycles at the last two at the highest dosage. On cycle 6, I found out I was pregnant. It was a twin pregnancy, but I miscarried one. 2 1/2 yrs. later almost to the day I found out I was preg. again(no help) with my youngest daughter. I hated the side effects too! I thought I was going to lose my mind for a while, but I kept thinking, if I want a child this bad I have to,do this, unfortunately. I wish you the best of luck!

I just finished my last clomid pill on thursday. I hope I am doing it right as well and that it works. I guess we will find out huh?!? I have been taking the ovulation test every morning to see. But I am on day 11 and no ovulation yet. We will see I am not going to stress about it, I am only 25. I am surprised that everyone had such bad side effects. I wonder what they were? I only had a headache a few days and that was it. Maybe I was a little emotional also but that was it. good luck!

The chances are not so bright, but the good news is that there are a lot of people who have become pregnant after using clomid. So best of luck.
