You lose breast tissue during the time you are pregnant and nursing. Therefore the same amount of skin is there, but not the same amount of tissue underneath.
Each pregnancy and nursing period depletes more breast tissue.
Nothing is ever the same. Nursing alone doesn't cause the loss of elasticity, but more so the pregnancy does. Nursing causes more stretching of the skin around the breasts because of engorgement.
And like your others have answered, unless you have surgery, they won't ever look perky again...unfortunately.
Too bad we can't take some of that postpartum hip fat out and put it up there, huh?
Good luck with the little-bitty. They're so precious.

What do you mean by normal? They will not be what they were before you got pregnant. When you are no longer producing milk then that's about how they will stay. I'm sorry. When I got pregnant with my first child, I was a C cup, they grew ALOT and I became a F cup!!! I couldn't beleive it, I didn't even know they made them that big. . . When I finish breastfeeding, I was a D cup, but I think most of that is because of the added weight I gained. So I lost 30 pounds, and still remained a D cup. I am pregnant again, and haven't gone up a cup size yet.

I hope that helps some. My point is, for most people things don't go back to the way they were.

It's not going to happen. I have a 12 year old and an 18 month old, and couldn't breast feed either of them, but my breasts grew enough during the pregnancies and the skin stretched so much they never got back to the place they were before (2 inches above of where they fall now). Time doesn't fix this.

If you are looking for them to return the same shape and tautness they were before pregnancy, it won't happen without the help of surgery.

If you want to know how long it will take until you no longer have milk coming every time you hear a hungry baby cry or touch your breasts, it varies from woman to woman. The less breast stimulation you get, either from babies wanting to nurse or hubbies wanting to play, the sooner it will happen. Good Luck!

Welcome to your new body hon. Your breasts changed a lot during pregnancy and in the initial postpartum engorgement that all moms (even those who don't nurse) go through. They're never going to be the same perky girls they were before. At least not without surgery.
