i hooked up my ipod to the computer and it took a while to respond and now that it responded it gave me the option of restoring the ipod and i clicked on it but it just says "there was a problem downloading the ipod software for the ipod "ipod". The requested resourse was not found." what is it talking about, and how can i fix it. i have a ipod video, if that helps.

like i said, i tryed to restore it but it wouldnt work, just read what i said before you answer the question.

Don't talk to me about Ipod problems...I have to have mine connected to the computer just to get the computer to run. If I disconnect it, the computer freezes up. If I try to restart the computer without the Ipod, it won't boot.

If a computer won't read it then you do have to restore it, which basically wipes the entire thing out ans you start all over... It sucks, believe me, I've had to do it many times before...
