Is it possible that Devil tells the people to pretend as they follow god but when it comes to action to follow his guidelines such as practicing hatred, murder, telling lies, stealing and distributing to the wealthy and being indifferent to children dying out of hunger, disease and war?

Let's personify "God" and "Satan" for a moment. "Satan" is big business, governments, those who hide behind religion to justify their taking advantage of others--These three equal murderers, liars, and thieves.

So "God" is who? Anyone with a full conscious? Anyone who is willing to put others before him or herself?

See what I mean. I can find "Satan" in the world, but cannot find "God." So even the mythological being you call "God" cannot overpower the mythological creature you call "Satan," because we allow the powers in charge to continue to become more powerful and let those who suffer continue to suffer.

What have you don't to help those around you????

What has your "God" done????

Once you figure out these answers, you will see that the idea of your "God" is outdated.

We are on our own in the world. When we die, we die--for us, everything stops. When the world wears out, it wears out and the end of human life will be here. No ONE will be judged, we will all perish.

To take action, get out from behind you idea of "God" and do something to make the world a better place. Take action into your own hands.

I believe that he does not, for God has given him the power, ergo, God always has the upper hand. Do you know the story of Job, where God and the devil had a conversation, the devil was not just running everything, and in the end, God wins anyway. I do not believe that, if anything, God does.

Now, God gave us all the choice to choose to follow him or not, we are not all robots, we are human, and as being human, we were born into a fallen world. From Adam and Eve, the world has been a fallen place.

As for the hated, murder, telling lies, stealing and distribution to the wealthy. God made us to choose and some of us choose to do good, while others choose not to. Yes there are evil people out there, and there choices do effect everyone, not just the evil.

For the distributing to the wealthy and being indifferent to children dying out of hunger, disease and war. We live in a selfish country, where everyone looks after number one. But people are trying to help with places like Compassion International and Operation Christmas Child. Even in this evil world, there are still good people.

In conclusion to your question, my answer is no, the devil does not have the upper hand, God does.

I hope my answer at least helped a little bit, if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me.

God Bless

There has always been murder, adultery, liars, theft, and many more other sins committed by human beings since the initial Adam & Eve sin. We are given free will which a lot of people forget and think that GOD is playing with us. We are given the right to choose to be good or to be evil. The devil will never get the upper hand. It is written that we allow the devil into our lives by choosing to lie, cheat etc. If we are true believers then nothing can make me go against GOD's will. I know I am saved, what about you? Maybe this is a good time to start searching for a better way instead of pointing fingers and playing the blame game. We are all sinners for we are not perfect or holy. GOD wants us to be separated from sin but it is our choice.

When I see all the death, destruction, and catastrophic earth causalities, such as floods, typhoons, earthquakes. Then the gangs killing each other, diseases that are incurable, global warming, and just about every thing that is negative amongst the beauty,it makes me believe that hell is here on earth. I know there are plenty of Paris Hiltons, whose lifes are surrounded with nothing but the best, and who consider having a bad day, when they break a nail...but to a large percentage of us...we cant help but feel that hell is here on earth. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way! Note: Why is it that you capitalize Devil, and not God?

There has to be a balance, If there is Good then there has to be Evil. However, it seems like Evil has the upper hand, only because that is what the media gives us by showing us all the bad, it is more news worthy. Rarely does something Good ever appear in the media. God is the Supreme power of course he has the upper-hand, the Devil however is very intelligent, and we cannot under-estimate his strengths.

No..its more of a stalemate. Yet not with the world, but yourself. You can decide to do good or bad. Life is a rollercoaster ride of choices..you can decide to believe in something or not, and do what is right or wrong. I believe the world will come together in a time of crisis though. We can overcome adversity if we keep working towards a goal or getting stronger. But dont forget to look out for #2, when stepping up to be number one!

From a biblical perspective the devil is only a fallen angel, he does not have the ability to create anything only corrupt what God has created. So no I do not believe their is another world the devil created.

There is no doubt that this is the case. The world, since the fall of Adam, has been designed so that people will naturally follow a course that leads away from God. God, of course, knew that this would happen and has prepared for it, but right now, people are influened, (directly and indirectly), to follow Satan, until they hear the Word of God and decide to accept It.

The Devil never has the upper hand,GOD is always in control of his creation. However, he has given human beings the power of free will therefore our actions are our own. GOD gives us the right path to follow but the devil sets temptations. All of the sins that you have listed result from human beings distancing themselves from GOD, it is only when we distance ourselves from GOD that the devil has any real power. GOD IS LOVE.

No more than it is possible that Batman has the upper hand over The Penguin. Wake up from your fantasy world, and accept that those are human problems.
