I don't think there is a real equivalent. Women's sexuality is so kept under covers that although there's a market for it, it's quite scattered, in the form of dog-eared romance novels, the bedside drawer with magazine pages of their favorite male celebrities, the occasional erotic book. It's quite sad, really. I think the dearth might have to do with the women's general lack of visual orientation (unlike men, most women don't just see something and get off; they need a little more), or the wide range of tastes (most men, it seems, respond to the Playboy-type model, but what's the standard for women? muscular? hairy? slender and lithe?), and just our general shame regarding female sexuality that makes it impossible for there to be an honest-to-goodness equivalent of Playboy.

I don't think there is an equivalent. Romance novels are the closest thing, but they're only somewhat comparable. Women aren't as visual and rapid to attraction as men are. They want to see a man move, hear him talk, watch him demonstrate confidence or an edge. Mags and videos just don't do it for most women.

Cheesy romance novels. I know a couple women who bring those into work, and the covers are already borderline softcore porn. Have you ever looked INSIDE one of those things? Any woman who bashes porn and reads those doesn't have a leg to stand on.
