I am thinking about either trying to get my PhD in psychology or becoming a lawyer. Which career would be less stressful, more rewarding, ect.?

Personally, I think Psycology would be more rewarding, but i think both would be stressful. It's really up to you, though. Which do you have more of a passion for? Do you want to help people with their personal problems or their legal ones? Would you feel more comfortable in the laid back atmosphere of an office or prefer the excitement of a courtroom? It all depends on where you most see yourself and if you're not sure, maybe you could try to study Psycology and law and see which you like better. I don't know if you can do that or not. But if you can only choose one, choose the one you "feel" the most and could see yourself really putting your all into. The best advice i can really give is just to follow your heart.

I am going for my PhD in psychology so I am going to be biased and say go for it too. It will be less stressful, but both would be equally rewarding. Being a lawyer, you would have a lot of pressure all the time and some people work 60 hour weeks. They will both be extremely stressful getting into school for though. Law school is very hard to get into and depending on what path you want in psychology, it will be hard as well. Clinical Psych you need an A average to get into the PhD program in Canada. Good luck with whatever you do!

I'd go with Psychology but that's just me.
I think I am very good listener and pretty good at giving advice but I am not you or either to tell you which one better suits you or is less stressful but I think therapist help more then lawyers.

Less stressful = Psychologist
More rewarding = Psychologist
My recommendation = Psychologist

Just don't be a sucky psychologist like my last one - he was disinterested and stared at the clock and asked me the same sets of questions every session. What a loser!

Personal satisfaction depends upon a number of things, self actualization being a primary factor. If you enjoy what you do and feel that you are making the most of your abilities you will be the most pleased in your occupation.

"Lawyer" is a tough job that is considered one of the least trusted occupations according to recent polls.
Many have no scruples and do what they can for the money, guilty or innocent doesn't enter into it.
